Will you enroll in more CTE courses in the future?

If there were specifically more culinary CTE courses, I would because I have a passion for cooking. However, if it wasn't a culinary CTE, I wouldn't have taken it.

Do you believe what you’ve learned in Culinary has prepared you for your future career?

I believe that it has taught me certain leadership, collaboration, and communication skills that I can use in my future career.

Do you have a favorite memory, lesson, or class project from Culinary?

My favorite projects are student-driven ones, where my group and I pick a dish and make it, and present it.

Would you recommend Culinary to your peers?

Most of the time, you get to eat the food you cook. The skills that you learn can transfer over to a job in the food industry.

How has Culinary positively impacted your high school experience?

It has provided me with many useful skills that I would have never learned or learned later on in life. It was a nice break from my core classes throughout the day.

Do you have a favorite memory, lesson, or class project from Culinary?

Honestly, any time that I got to cook with my friends was my favorite part of culinary. In the second year of Culinary Arts, we had labs just about every day.
