The headline of last week's story reporting on responses to the Professional Teaching Standards consultation by the Higher Education Academy, incorrectly suggests that the Heads of Educational Development Group is "rounding" on the HEA.

The HEDG has long worked with the HEA and its predecessors as a critical but constructive partner in supporting learning and teaching, and it will continue to do so.
