My thanks once again to Gary Day for his insightful, disarming piece (Columnist, September 29) surely spelling the dawn of a new era. It is so heartening to know that in future we may not have to face such delusions of inadequacy.
I think The Times Higher is to be patted on the back for its foresight in hiring someone with all his critical disabilities and deficiencies.
Anyway, continue to shake me up, Gary, and vive la différence !
