The Race Relations (Amendment) Act is the best chance we've ever had to push through the culture change needed to make equal opportunities a reality in the sector (News, THES , May 31). Bill Gulam is part of the structure of the Equality Challenge Unit. We need Gulam and everyone else in the sector to help promote the equality the act heralds.
