As the press officer for , I have to say that I am not in the least bit surprised at the figures in your article on top-up fees. I am also pleased that our request that students boycott the Russell Group institutions, targeting Birmingham, Sheffield and Liverpool universities, seems to be working.
We need to see student support as an investment in people not as an expenditure. If we take the global benefits into account, every member of society will benefit.
