This Thatcherite policy ("Ministers see off rebels in bill triumph", April 2) will mean that within a decade the British electorate will cease to see universities as a public good. Fees will shoot up and the UK will end up with a society as shatteringly unequal as that of the US.
And these philistines have the effrontery to call themselves "The Labour Party".
