Why is it that Geoffrey Sampson of the University of Sussex is under pressure to resign for publishing an article stating "there's nothing wrong with racism" and claiming that racism is "natural", while no such pressure is being applied to James Tooley of Newcastle University for publishing a book stating "there's nothing wrong with sexism" and claiming that sexism is "natural" ("Sink schools?", THES , May 17)?
Shall we expect a full-page interview with Sampson by a prominent black academic in next week's THES ?
