The changes proposed to Cambridge University's intellectual property policy are not a "wrecking amendment" ("Cambridge to ballot on IP reforms", October 28). They will return us to the policy we operated successfully until 2001. Cambridge is not broken and the vice-chancellor's bid to fix it is misguided.
