I hope I'm not alone in applauding the rich vein of satire in Malcolm Gillies' article ("Easy money? That's rich", 22 April), which would otherwise appear to be a remarkably accomplished masterpiece of evasion.

By the way, your "Appointments" page? Perhaps it's time for a counterpart, the "Disappointments" page? It may appeal to scholars.
