Cannot Michael Rennie control the bile and acid caused by the arrival of upstart sport and exercise scientists in the research assessment exercise (Letters, THES , October 3)?
There is something inherently unedifying in a spokesperson from an "old" discipline and an "old" university seeking to rubbish the research achievements of a "new" discipline largely found in "new" universities.
