I trust that your review of the use of non-discriminatory language will be extended to the University of Poppleton ("Staff continue using terms deemed inappropriate by PC language advice", 6 August). It would be interesting to know if the "Thought for the Week" published in 6 August's Poppletonian complies with that institution's guidelines on considerate language - or is the author, Ted Odgers, a special case?
