The Higher Education Statistics Agency's findings for 1995/96 revealed that:

* Unemployment is the first destination of 5 per cent of those qualifying at postgraduate level

* Unemployment is the first destination of 10 per cent of those qualifying in combined study postgraduate programmes

* Unemployment is the first destination of 1 per cent of those qualifying in medicine and dentistry at postgraduate level.
