The Cubie report may not have all the answers, but it is at least a tribute to all those who have protested about the inequity of tuition fees ("Cubie rejects upfront fees", THES, December 24/31). I hope all the new Labour politicians who told us that demonstrations do not make a difference will now keep quiet.
