Industry minister John Battle has announced a Pounds 13 million scheme to encourage the uptake of advances in biotechnology by industry. Called Bio-Wise, the initiative aims to build on its predecessor, the Biotechnology Means Business scheme, and is scheduled to run over a four-year period.
