Palestinian students hurt in roadblock clash
Thirteen Palestinian students were reported injured in clashes with Israeli police on Wednesday during a protest against a roadblock near Ramallah that prevents them from reaching Bir Zeit University.   

Czechs fund 10,000 more students
The Czech education ministry has announced an extra ?17 million for universities to help fund a further 10,000 student places next year. The increase reflects unease at the low number of students in the Czech Republic compared with other European countries.
