Derby University won one category and was runner-up in two categories at last week's Universities Personnel Association awards. It scooped the prize for improving working lives; and it was runner-up in the strategic impact award (sponsored by The Times Higher ) and in the people development award (sponsored by Euro RSCG Riley).
