Ravensbourne College of Art and Design has dismissed its head of finance for persistent "communication failures".

An external accountant from Deloitte Touche is running the Bromley college's finances until a new appointment is made. A college spokeswoman said: "The books are healthy, and the college is in no financial jeopardy."
