Students with young children can use the internet to find childcare close to campus. Launched this week to coincide with National Childcare Week, Daycare Trust's helpline and website aims to put an end to the financial and geographical difficulties student parents face. More than 350 universities and colleges are listed as having affordable childcare facilities. It is hoped the initiative will increase student numbers and reduce drop-out rates. Institutions can apply for funding to improve their facilities.
