The three-man taskforce appointed to assess the potential danger to the earth from asteroid strikes has an important job to do. But to headline the news item "Team picked to save Earth from asteroids" (THES, January 7) appears to cast them in the role of Superman. What are they supposed to do? Move the planet a bit to the left?
