Incomes and spending patterns of more than 3,000 students will go under the microscope this summer in a government-commissioned survey designed to measure the impact of fees. The survey, directed by Claire Callender, professor of social policy at South Bank University, and carried out by polling organisation NOP, will involve face-to-face interviews with about 2,000 full-time and 1,000 part-time students.
