The University and College Union at Leeds University has passed two motions criticising the institution for cancelling a talk on anti-Semitism by Matthias Küntzel of the Hebrew University. One motion says that the decision, following objections by Muslim students, had effectively handed the right of veto to anyone objecting to a meeting. The other motion demands the university apologises to Dr Kuntzel and invites him back.
