Flying Spaghetti Monsterism is no more plausible than six-day creationism. As I explain to those who come to my doorstep with the latter theory, the universe was knitted by my grandmother in 1937. It took all afternoon and, after tea, she put the buttons on. As she was short-sighted, she dropped a few stitches. This accounts for tectonic plates colliding and so on. I know this because my grandmother told me. I have never heard a convincing refutation, and I feel my grandmother should be in the National Curriculum.
