I note that the issue of research impact is again of concern (eg, "Dismissal threat for metrics letter", 17 May). In particular, it seems there is an issue about communicating research insights clearly.
Surely the matter is easily resolved. If a researcher cannot tweet a summary of his or her research in 140 characters or fewer, it is probably not "impactful" enough.
