Ten finance and law lecturers and at least two language lecturers in the business school at Bournemouth University face redundancy after their departments ran up deficits.
University and college lecturers union Natfhe is considering balloting members on industrial action over the redundancies, which it blames on an "internal market" system of budgeting.
