The Association of Commonwealth Universities has called on education ministers from the 54 countries of the Commonwealth to promote equality of access to higher education and to encourage student mobility between its countries. Ministers will consider the ACU's proposal, drafted after the recent ACU conference in Belfast, when they meet in Edinburgh in October.
