Bone up on X-rays

Researchers in Manchester University's School of Dentistry have created a unique way of identifying osteoporosis sufferers from ordinary dental X-rays. The new technique involves measuring the thickness of a patient's lower jaw. Findings have been published online by the journal Bone .
