Cern's collider strikes ancient Roman villa

* The remains of a Roman villa and what could be tile and nail factories have been unearthed at the Cern particle physics laboratory near Geneva.

The remains were discovered after land was cleared to dig a new experimental area on a particle accelerator that runs for 17 miles under the Jura mountains.
