Giovanni Perrucci, an anthropologist at the University of Chieti in Abruzzo, Italy, claims to have discovered the oldest living human - a Kenyan woman of the Kikuyu tribe who is thought to be between 150 and 170 years old. In the absence of documentary evidence, Professor Perrucci claims that close analysis of her recollections and careful observation of her biological rhythms proved conclusive. He also claims that her longevity is due to her "aggressive" vital spirit.
