(Photograph) - Croft's original: Staffordshire University has teamed up with games industry professionals to develop a degree course that will produce the next century's creators of interactive games, coming up with heroes to succeed Tomb Raider Lara Croft (pictured). The BSc in interactive entertainment has been designed to speed graduates into the Pounds 15 billion a year industry. Course leader Liz Thursfield said students would specialise early in order to master skills that are in short supply. 'The games industry doesn't want jacks of all trades. It needs professionals skilled in niche areas,' she said.
