Writers in interactive media working in film are often undervalued, according to the British Academy of Film and Television Arts.

Bafta will examine tensions between creative professionals in the new medium in its first interactive event of the millennium, "Writing for Interactive Media", on Monday.

An international panel of industry experts will discuss how scenarios, scripts and "worlds" for interactive media are developed, in the David Lean Room at Bafta, 195 Piccadilly, London.

Details: Helen Wood, Dan Boothby on 0171 292 5822.
