Leading physics researchers in industry and academia are being brought together through three new networks funded with Pounds 150,000. The networks, covering quantum optics, liquid matter and soft condensed matter, are to stimulate ideas, capitalising on new experimental and computational techniques. Each network is being funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council for three years. Submissions to the EPSRC by March 4.
