The University Vocational Awards Council has announced two initiatives to help higher education work with employers. The Learning and Skills Council has awarded funding to Uvac for a national project to simplify the route into higher education for apprentices. Uvac also won funding to help institutions align degree programmes more closely with skills needed by businesses.
