Australia's students demand funding commitment
As Australia enters a federal election year, the country¡¯s National Union of Students has demanded a substantial increase in funding for universities. President David Henderson said: ¡°Students will no longer tolerate lip-service to the knowledge nation in the absence of real funding commitments.¡±

Strike leads to wage increase
