Indian business school opens
The first batch of 130 students started MBA courses at the Indian School of Business in Hyderabad in southern India yesterday. It is a joint veture between 13 of India¡¯s top companies and three international business schools - Northwestern University¡¯s Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Wharton Business School at the University of Pennsylvania and London Business School.

University hospitals face 112 malpractice suits
Forty of Japan¡¯s 42 national universities that have affiliated hospitals face a total of 112 malpractice lawsuits, according to the education ministry. University hospitals account for only 2 per cent of the 1.64 million beds nationwide, but their rate of malpractice suits is three times the national average.
