Michael Wills, minister for learning and technology, will today launch a&nbsp;revamped National Grid for Learning. The site, at , includes links to higher education institutions, museums and galleries, lifelong learning opportunities and career development sites.

Scots launch campaign against depression
Students leaders at Edinburgh, Heriot-Watt and Napier universities have formed a campaign to help&nbsp;depressed students. Dan Hannard, president of Edinburgh's&nbsp;students association, said this was a particularly difficult period. "The excitement of starting uni has disappeared, students have left the comforts of home, and there is also the stress of exams."

Chaos&nbsp;puts lecturer off the rails
Portsmouth University maths lecturer Michael McCabe is beating the rail chaos&nbsp;by travelling to work via two ferries and a 32km&nbsp;cycle ride. He became so fed up with the unreliable 80km&nbsp;train commute from home in Sway, Hampshire, that he now travels across the Isle of Wight.
