UK universities involved in joint projects with Russian partners under the British Council administered Bridge scheme are to get an extra ?1 million of UK funding, Bill Rammell, the Higher Education Minister, was due to announce in Moscow this week. Mr Rammell was in Moscow to discuss the agenda for the education strand of July's G8 summit that President Vladimir Putin will host in St Petersburg.
