Ofsted names adjudicator to hear complaints

The Office for Standards in Education has appointed an independent adjudicator to consider complaints about inspections. The move, which Education Secretary David Blunkett praised as a commitment to "fairness and openness", was expected to be welcomed by university-based teacher trainers.
