Leading research universities were this week to have their say on the government's transparency review that will put in place a consistent costing method for university research. A seminar organised by the Committee of Vice Chancellors and Principals brought together representatives from the university sector, the Office of Science and Technology and JM Consulting, who will make proposals for a new methodology.
