The Open and Distance Learning Quality Council has produced and formally adopted Standards in Open and Distance Learning. The council says this document draws on 30 years of monitoring, and that adopting these standards will "help any provider enhance current provision and further develop a quality education service, as well as giving learners confidence in the quality of that service".
