A High Court challenge to Cambridge University's "old-boys" procedures has failed. Kamran Beg, who was denied his masters degree amid allegations of plagiarism, won leave for a judicial review of his case last year. His bid to quash the university's ruling and seek damages was thrown out last week. He plans to take his case to the European Court.
