UCL appoints modernising provost
Malcolm Grant has been appointed provost of University College London. Professor Grant, who is currently a pro vice-chancellor at the University of Cambridge, will take up the post on October 1. He is a vociferous advocate of modernisation and will scrutinise how UCL is run.
