Visitors to the Virtual Reality Software and Technology conference from December 20-22 at University College London will see CAVE, a VR room where the walls are screens and no headsets are required, only lightweight glasses. A new twist is that the sound will also change as users move around the room, a feature that designers are using to improve the acoustics in buildings.
