Women lecturers taking the Open University to an industrial tribunal

Six women lecturers are taking the Open University to an industrial tribunal accusing them of sex discrimination for including clauses in fixed-term contracts under which they waive their rights to make claims for unfair dismissal. The women say these clauses are unfair because more women than men are on fixed-term contracts.
