Escola Superior Pedag¨®gica do Cuanza-Norte (ESPCN) is a public higher education institution located in Ndalatando, the capital of Angola¡¯s Cuanza-Norte province. It was founded in 2007 as part of a national effort to expand teacher training across the country.
The university¡¯s mission is to strengthen Angola¡¯s education system by training highly qualified teachers, advancing research in pedagogy, and supporting the development of local communities through outreach and applied learning.
There is around 85 teaching staff, including both Angolan and international lecturers,
The university offers bachelor¡¯s degrees across a range of subject areas, including primary education, early childhood education, Portuguese, and foreign languages (English and French), mathematics, biology, physics, chemistry, history, geography and linguistics.
The university currently provides study options through both daytime and evening classes. Since awarding its first degrees in 2012, ESPCN has graduated more than 3,000 students, many of whom now work in schools across the country and internationally.
