The professorship covers the field of Classical Archaeology with specific focus on Roman Archaeology. The position:

The professorship covers the subject area of "Greek History" with a focus on "Greek Antiquity and Epigraphy". As a subfield of the subject “Ancient History”, Greek History is part of the broader context of the history and cultures of the ancient Mediterranean and its neighbouring areas and is considered on a broad methodological and source basis (with a predominant emphasis on all genres of written sources). The Disability and Neuroinclusion (D&N) team is looking for a full-time, permanent Specialist Disability Tutor/Mentor-Adviser.

We are looking for a highly experienced specialist to ensure disabled students receive outstanding support through individually tailored tutoring or mentoring.?

Additionally, a core aspect of this post is to act as an adviser to students and applicants and the wider University community and to work on a range of projects to improve student experience. Working as part of a dedicated and holistically minded team, such activities will include developing and delivering staff training and development across the institution, as well as guidance and study resources.

As the tutor/mentor aspect of the role is DSA-funded, it is essential that candidates meet the DfE qualification and professional body membership requirements to undertake the role of a Specialist Tutor or Specialist Mentor for disabled students (these are listed on pages 8-17 of?https://www.practitioners.slc.co.uk/media/1987/final-nmh-qualifications-matrix-july2023.pdf)

Knowledge of the needs of, and experience of supporting, disabled students in a Higher Education setting is essential, as is the ability to work independently and as a team member.?

Under the guidance of the Head of Disability and Neuroinclusion Operations, and the team’s Senior Practitioners, the successful candidate will promote good practices across the institution and be able to work flexibly, sometimes outside of core hours, and across the year.

About the opportunity

The Facilities Officer provides a range of administrative activities to support the delivery of the Sydney Medical School Doctor of Medicine Program in Dubbo. They coordinate all aspects of facilities, asset and resource management relating to the residential accommodation, teaching, administration, and student facilities and at the School of Rural Health in Dubbo. This includes managing accommodation bookings, coordination of contractors and maintenance tasks, and providing logistical support to the staff and students. The Facilities Officer works in collaboration with other members of the administration and facilities team and provides support to the School of Rural Health (SRH) in relation to their portfolio area.

This position will collaborate with other School staff to support and enhance student placements and multidisciplinary learning experiences in rural areas in accordance with the Rural Health Multidisciplinary Training (RHMT) Program parameters, Murray Darling Medical Schools Network (MDMSN) Program funding and Sydney Medical Program (SMP). This position ensures compliance with relevant legislative and regulatory controls and ensures a safe working environment for all staff and students in accordance with The University of Sydney policy.

This position is located at Dubbo. Travel within Dubbo is a requirement of this position.

About the opportunity

Your key responsibilities will be to:


	manage all aspects of the SRH in Dubbo's residential accommodation and facilities for medical and other students or staff attending the SRH in Dubbo

	assist the education team with orientation and induction for the new SRH students in relation to facilities and WHS

About you
